St. Elias school on Republic day witnessed a stupendous rally around its school border. Nearly, 700 students, ex-students and parents participated in it with great gusto and joy.

The day started with flag hoisting ceremony at the hands of cheif guest Neeraj Assie our very own ex-student and an active Alumini member. After the flag hoisting ceremony the students of primary sang patriotic songs and gave speechees on the importance of  Republic day.

Followed by the ceremony was the great GRAND RALLY, which began from the school ground with the band troupe marching gloriously leading the rally. Then followed the different groups and floats of Life skills, children dressed as national leaders, RSP, SCOUTS- GUIDES troupe marching in respective uniforms, CMCA Marshalls with blue caps, the traditionally dressed lezim students danced gracefully on the drum beats and so on.. Not only the primary and secondary students but also the ex-students and parents joined the rally to show their solidarity.

The rally ended with all groups marching in orderly manner on the school ground. The students were glowing with smiles on their faces. Fr. Milton our manager applauded and  appreciated the students , teachers and ex-students and parents for their wonderful co-operation to make this rally a great success.

Apart from this celebration to add icing over the cake our very own students of secondary set out to different places like Chuim, Danda, RamKrishna hospital, Bandh etc.. to flag the citizens.
