The Investiture ceremony at St. Elias 2015-16

St. Elias high school believes in all round development of the students so that they are well balanced future citizens of tomorrow.

The ceremony was held in school premises at 8:00 am. The programme began with Manveline D’souza, welcoming the entire school members for the programme. The outstanding students who deserved the honour of being selected as members of school council marched to their respective places at the beat of the drums. Miss Sakshi waghchawre invoked God’s blessings and guidance upon the newly elected council members.

The Principal Sr. Philomena Sequeira and the Supervisor Mrs. Tereza D’souza, along with four other teachers handed the office bearers coats, ties and badges. The headgirl Miss. Rutika Jadhav said the oath which was repeated by her entire team of council members.

The Principal addressed the office bearers and reminded them of the significance of their newly attained post and she told them to firmly believe in the school motto ‘God shows the way’ and march ahead as a proud Elysian.

The choir sang a hymn and concluded the programme with the National Anthem.
