43rd Annual sports meet of St. Elias High school was held on Wednesday 23/11/2016 with all enthusiasm and exuberance in the school. This glorious day began by welcoming the chief guest of the day Rev.Fr. Milton Gonsalves. After the guard of honors to the chief guest the spectacular march past was showcased by the band and RSP troop of St.Elias High school .It was followed by prayer and sportsman oath. The Annual Sports meet was declared open by chief guest by releasing pigeons as a symbol of peace and freedom.
The winners of various events were awarded certificate. The sports events included tug-o-war, telegames and also games for teachers. The chief guest addressed the gathering with an encouraging and inspiring speech about sportsmanship and importance of sports and physical health.
The prestigious winning trophy was bagged by yellow house .The championships trophy was awarded to Master Chaitanya Parte and Miss Nisha Mahadik for their extra potential , skills and grit in sports .
The meet was closed with vote of thanks by the Principal Rev. Sr. Philomena Sequeria and ended by paying homage to our country by singing National Anthem.
