St. Elias High School had organized English Elocution competition on 21st August, Friday. The teachers in charge of the competition were Mrs Sharmila and Mrs Dilya who did a good task on that day. The students were divided into two groups ie. junior and senior group. The junior group (std V-VIII) spoke on the topic Advantages of newspapers and the Senior group (std IX-X) spoke on Wonders of Science . Hats off to all the contestants who delivered their thoughts well and also to the English teachers who took lot of efforts to train the students.
The eminent honorable judges were Rev. Sr. Irene Abreo, ex teacher Vivian Fonseca and ex teacher Pearl Fernandes. The students perfectly displayed their diction and the content with proper expressions. The judges were very impressed with the students. Not forgetting the host of the day master Suraj Yadav who did a good job of hosting the competition.
