What a wonderful year – 2016, St. Elias High School has seen. The success attained this year has been overdue. We say this because, last year too we had dominated each and every game and lost by slender margins. As a matter of fact, We did not expect such dominant display from the girls having lost 3 very good players who passed out last year. We know there was good talent in the team, and with their hard work and never say die attitude, they have achieved tremendous results. The facts below says a lot.

We have played 7 tournaments in the under 16/17 categories, have been winners of 5, runners-up once and semifinalist on one occasion. A record which St. Elias can be very proud of. The kids have worked extremely hard and their efforts have borne fruits.
Our qualifying for the DSO tournament in Nanded as the lone team from Mumbai, is a just reward for our dominant performances in the schools hockey tournament this year. Its going to be a tough trip for the St. Elias girls team at Nanded, but will be an experience for this team to analyze their game with outstation teams and develop themselves on those lines to play at a higher level.
