On the occasion of the birth anniversary of our former president APJ Abdul Kalam the government urged all schools and colleges to observe 15th October as Vachan Prerna Diwas to promote the habit of reading among the young generation.
To celebrate the day,the children were given books to read and encouraged to make reading a hobby.
