Prayer Service for Teachers’ Day

Due to the many holidays around September 5, the prayer service for Teachers’ Day was conducted on September 9. Of course, as usual, our Headmistress, Mrs. Plassy Braganza did us all proud.

Our Manager, Rev. Fr. Austin Norris, our Principal, Rev. Sr. Philomena Sequeira and the entire staff of the Primary Section assembled in the Audio-Visual Room. Our Headmistress also invited the staff of the Kindergarten Section to join us. We are always happy to have them with us!

The service commenced with the school choir singing ‘One Day at a Time’, asking Our Lord to take care of our teachers. Our Headgirl, Ms Myra Shaikh recited a prayer. It was a short but meaningful service stressing on the role of teachers. It was very colourful too. Hats off to our Headmistress!

Rev. Fr. Austin Norris addressed us. Mrs. Carol Nazareth of the Kindergarten Section, on behalf of her colleagues expressed her thanks.

The choir sang while the teachers gathered around to cut the cake.

It was a beautiful afternoon and we teachers are most grateful to our Headmistress.

We extend our thanks also to Mr. Satish and his team for their assistance with regard to the Audio Visual Room
