Come 11th November and there is always excitement in the air, as we at St. Elias High school celebrates our Principal Rev. Sr. Philomena Sequeira’s birthday. The day’s celebration began with the welcoming of Sister into our midst, wherein she was escorted and accompanied by our Manager Rev. Fr. Austin Norris and the three Sirs- John, Parab and Baisame
The programme began with a prayer that was conducted by Teacher Mrs. Hazel Coelho. The prayer service had its theme based on LIFE. The children too participated in the service by putting up the action song followed by the intercession and a prayer song.
The programme that was organised after the prayer service was hoisted by Miss. Sakshi and Miss Lopita. The programme comprised of dance and songs that were staged by the students and mind blowing speeches were delivered by our Manager Rev. Fr. Austin Norris and our Supervisor Mrs. Anjena Dsilva. The entire programme was filled with a lot of surprises and gifts that were showered by the students, teachers, computer staff and helpers too. Sister too expressed her gratitude in her heart warmly speech which was very inspiring. The day ended on a happy note as Sr. was overwhelmed by the love and blessings showered on her by the entire Elysian family.
