Principal’s Day ( Principal’s birthday celebration )
On 11th November 2020, it was a very special day for our school as it was our very own beloved principal Rev. Sr. Philomena Sequeira’s birthday. Even though we couldn’t meet her personally to make her feel special but we were still successful in making her day special virtually. We started the celebration with a prayer service which was conducted by Mrs. Hazel Coelho teacher followed by the other teachers who prayer for sister on this special day. Our students also prayed (symbolic prayer) for our sister in their very own special way. We continued the celebration as sister cut her birthday cake on the tune of happy birthday. Our Manager Rev. Fr. Austin Norris spoke a few words about sister’s qualities and how she manages everything so gratefully in difficult situations. He also sang a song for our sister to show his gratitude and respect for her. A video was also prepared by Mrs. Anjena D’silva teacher with the help of Ms. Jane D’souza, Mrs. Magdalene D’souza, Mrs. Ronita D’silva and Mrs. Mitchelle D’silva Teachers which included the wishes of the students and school staff. The video also included the dance performances put up by our students for our sister which cleared showed us, how much they love her. Sister was so touched with the efforts put forth by the school staff and students. She concluded the celebration by thanking each and everyone for making her day special and indeed a different and memorable one. It was a day well spend.
