On 11 June 2022, a staff meeting was held in the presence of our Principal Rev. Sr. Philomena Sequeira. The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss the problems the students are facing in learning specially after 2 years of online school due to the pandemic. The teachers were asked to brain storm and find solutions to meet the needs of the students in overcoming the difficulties they are facing in learning. Teachers were also guided to do a bridge course with the students which consist a revision of the previous year portion. The Main motive to carry out the bridge course was to make the basic concepts clear in the minds of the students. After the staff meeting we had a session on Empathy. The session was conducted by Mrs. Ellen under the guidance of our new school Manager Rev. Fr. Patrick D’mello. The session was very informative and teachers also practiced how to empathize with others especially the students. The session will definitely be helpful to the teachers to understand the students more better. On behalf of all the teachers Mrs. Hazel Coelho, teacher of the secondary section thanked the speaker Mrs. Ellen and also Rev. Fr. Patrick D’mello for sharing their knowledge with all the teachers.
