St. Elias High School enthusiastically celebrated International Women’s Day on 11th March 2025. The school’s male teachers took the lead in putting up the programme. The programme initiated with the prayer service. Students gave speeches and quotes on women and acknowledged the vitality of their presence, which adds beauty to every home and society. The male staff honoured women working on St. Elias School campus as administrative, teaching, and support staff. Then some exciting games were organised . The games were very interesting as well as inspiring. The fun games spread lots of joy and laughter. Prizes were given to the winners of the games.
Principal Sr. Philomena Sequeira addressed the gathering and appreciated the valuable contribution of women worldwide and the indomitable power each woman possesses. She also appreciated the men for the protection and care they give to every woman, which greatly matters. She concluded her message by encouraging everyone to maintain peace and make the world beautiful. The programme was concluded with sumptuous meal.
