The function started at 5:00 pm with the prayer dance followed by an introduction of our Chief guest. The theme of the annual day was ‘Pride of Maharashtra’. Students from each standard presented cultural programme based on the theme with grace and enthusiasm. Scholarships of the academic year 2015-16 were awarded to the deserving students by the Chief guest. The Principal Sr. Philomena Sequeira presented the school annual report through a powerpoint presentation.
The Chief guest Mr. Nicholas Almeida in his address appreciated the school and the theme of the Annual day and emphasised on the importance of education. The finale rendered by the students ” Maharashtra Mazza” was befilling to the theme of the Annual Day. The whole function gave much delight to all the audience. The programme ended with a vote of thanks. Everyone rose to sing the National Anthem followed by School Anthem, after which the crowd dispersed.
