St.Elias high school held it’s annual Sports day on 1st December 2018.The program me began with the welcoming of the Chief Guest Mrs .Rizwana Shaikh -Principal of SS Sahaney High school with the rythmic beats of the school band.She was accompanied by our manager Rev Fr Austin Norris, Principal Sr. Philomena Sequeira and Supervisor Mrs. Rekha Chorghe.The event began with the March pass followed by sportsman prayer and the oath taking ceremony.Pegions were released and the sports meet was formally declared open.There was a spectacular drill and Zumba performance displayed by the students.Finals of various events were then held.The last event was the much awaited staff race.Members of the staff enthusiastically participated.The Chief Guest praised the endeavors of the school and highlighted the necessity of a sportsmanship spirit in today’s fast changing world to bring an all round development in children.Certificates and Championship trophies were given to winners.
