Children’s Day and Diwali celebration
On 7th November 2020, our school staff and school students along with our Principal Rev. Sr. Philomena Sequeira and our Manager Rev. Fr. Austin Norris celebrated the occasion of children’s day and Diwali virtually. We started the celebration with a prayer service conducted by all the class teacher in their respect classes. An audio was prepared by Mrs. Anju D’silva teacher which gave a clear information about the occasions. A video was also prepared by Mrs. Dilya D’silva teacher and Mrs. Flavia D’souza teacher which included a fashion show and dance performances of various Teachers. The efforts of the teachers to bring a smile on the faces of our students by participating sportingly in the fashion show and the various dance performances was appreciated. We then continued the Diwali celebration by conducting some competitions for our students. The following were the various competitions held : 5th & 6th –Diya Decoration, 7th & 8th – Lantern making, 9th & 10th- Rangoli making. The winners of the competitions will be rewarded with certificates after the school re-opens. We concluded with the celebration by thanking each teacher for their participation and we also thank our students for actively participating in the various competitions. It was a day full of enjoyment, fun and entertainment.
