Gandhi Jayanti
On 1nd October 2020, our school staff and school students along with our Principal Rev. Sr. Philomena Sequeira and our manager Rev. Fr. Austin Norris celebrated the occasion of ‘Gandhi Jayanti’. It is an occasion celebrated to pay tribute, in memory of Mahatma Gandhi on his birthday. On 3rd October 2020, we also celebrated the birthday of ‘ Lal Bahadur Shastri‘. The respective class teachers conducted special assemblies on both the auspicious days, at the beginning of the online class which included a pray, a patriotic song and a speech. The speech was recited by our very own student, Master Naveen Rathod from standard 10th. Gandhi always said “Be the change you want to see in the world” based on this quote we held an activity for the students. The students had to clean their houses, click pictures and send it to their respective teacher on WhatsApp. This activity was an initiative to teach students to keep their home and surrounding clean and bring a change in the world. Mrs. Anjena D’silva teacher also prepared a video for the students and the school staff which gave complete information about the occasion. We thank all the students who participated in the activity. We also thank Mrs. Anjena D’silva teacher to take the initiative of making the informative video. Indeed the day was well spend .
