Let’s Salute the nation ……..
The Independence day ceremony started at 7.15 am. On the School ground with students, staff and parents. As per the tradition of the school to invite the parents of the of the SSC toppers of that current year as the chief guest , In keeping with the tradition parents of Master Vedant Teli and Miss Bhumika Teli were the Chief guest for the programme.
To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation the chief guest unfurled the tricolor flag and all of us sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.
The Programme began with a prayer for the nation and also for Assumption of Mother Mary, Miss Mitali More, Master Mustafa Karachiwala and Master Selwyn Makwana shared their views on the significance of the day. The students of class VIII sang the patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feeling towards our Mother Land. Our SSC topper Master Vedant Teli and Miss Bhumika gave inspiring speech.
The programme was concluded up by our principal who addressed the gathering- How we can look at the progress India made and how one can improve upon and be the change in the society and our motto was “ My India – Rise and Shine”
