Marathi Diwas celebrations
Marathi Diwas was celebrated on 27th February 2021, with our students along with all our teachers in the guidance of our Principal Rev. Sr. Philomena Sequeira and our Manager Rev. Fr. Austin Norris. It is an occasion which is to recognise and honour Marathi literature.An assembly was conducted for all students virtually by their respective class teachers. The assembly included a prayer, a pledge recited by Eshant from standard 10th, a speech by Mrs. Sweeta, a poem in Marathi recited by Mrs. Oriana and a song on Marathi Diwas. Competitions were also held for Students from standard 5thto 9th.The competitions held for the students are as follows:
Std 5th and 6th – बडबडगीते.
Std 7th and 8th – Marathi songs.
Std 9th -Story telling.
The competitions were judged by Mrs. Bhavana and Mrs. Albina teachers. A video was also prepared by Mrs. Sweeta which gave the students clear information about the occasion. We concluded our celebration by thanking all the students who took part in the competition so actively. We also thanked our teachers to help our students and bring out the best in them.
