Today’s as the day dawn for a new start of the New Academic Year 2019 – 2020, the children were warmly welcomed in and as they assembled in line there was a great aura in the air with the children speaking aloud, play about and so much laughter too filled the dark and gloomy weather shine out . It definitely felt good to be back to school as the children and the entire Elysian family were led so beautifully into prayer by our Principal Rev. Sr. Philomena Sequiera ,who remembered to pray for every one present as well as their extended families….
Wow what a beautiful way to begin the new year.
Soon after the prayer service our Manager. Rev. Fr. Austin Norris address the students and teachers and introduced and welcomed the new priest Rev. Fr Jodman Pereira. who has been transferred to St. Vincent De Paul church, he was presented with a floral bouquet by our Supervisor Ms. Anjena D’silva .
Fr. Jodman too in turned introduced himself and spoke aloud the importance of Hardwork, Silence and Discipline is in life….
The Principal declared Ms Anjena D’silva as the new Supervisor for the new year and the teachers were welcomed back especially those who were on maternity leave and other leaves.
And finally in conclusion Sr. Principal expressed aloud how happy she was to see her students toe the line of Discipline with hair cut and the smart look
She then declared the Standard X results, wherein she expressed her mix feelings….
Sr.even mentioned that we need to thank our Manager for the wonderful make over of our school, and its new look that is so beautiful
Finally the children were escorted by their class teachers and the day began according to the day’s timetable…
