Tree Plantation programme was held in our school on 15th July. The students of class IX actively participated in the programme. Around 150 students planted saplings in the school garden as a part of tree plantation drive, one of the activity from the department. All students from grade 5 to 8 could not participate due to the lack of place in school premises. Sister Philomena Sequeira (school Principal), teachers and students went to plant sapling in our school premises.
Students planted various types of plants some of them being flowering and non flowering plants. Our teachers had also explained about the trees and the importance of tree. Students even planted the saplings and then they watered the plants. The helpers and gardener too helped students in planting new saplings. At the end of programme there was a photo session with teachers and students.
