On 29th June 2022, a parent-teacher meeting was held in school. The main agenda of the meeting was to inform the parents about the functioning of the school and also to know from the parents their issues related to the students or the functioning of the school. The parents were also asked to Brainstorm and give their suggestions to the various problems and issues that came up during the meeting. Parents were guided by the teacher as to how the students are suppose to follow the instructions of the teachers in the following points:
1. Punctuality of students is must. Students have to come to school by 7.10 AM.
2. Kindly give breakfast , tiffin box and water to the students. Also student have to carry handkerchief , sanitizer and mask.
3. Uniform has to be neat and clean. (Class 5th students have to get the tie of secondary section.)
4. Girls have to tie two plaits and boys must have decent haircut. Unkempt hair/fancy haircut should be avoided .
5. If your child is sick , kindly do not send the child school.
6. If the child is absent for one day kindly write a leave note in the calendar. If the child is absent for more than 2 days send medical certificate/ letter to the class teacher.
7.Kindly pay activity fees as soon as possible.
8. Check the bags of students and send books according to the timetable.
9. Check the calendars regularly and sign the page where remarks are given (when given by tr.).
10. Guide your child and encourage self study. Take updates from them and make them study regularly.
11. Encourage your children to take part in co-curricular activities.
12. Parents also have to co-operate and take part in School activities if needed.
13. Now the school is offline. If you want to talk to teacher or principal, kindly come in person to school with prior appointment. Avoid phone calls to class teacher unless its an emergency.
14. If you have any problem kindly address it to the class tr first , then the supervisor and still if you are not convinced then you approach to the principal. Timing to meet principal 11AM to 12noon.
15. Unit test is scheduled in August. Also there is bridge course test in the last week of July. Kindly make sure that your child is prepared for the exam.
16. If your child has any issues/ problems, kindly bring it to the notice of teacher. Eg. Learning disability or any other medical problem.
The teacher also selected 1 parent from the class as a PTA member and 5 other active parents to help the school in organizing any event held in school. The meeting was indeed a success as we found many solutions which we can put into action along with parents and improve the learning ability of our students and overall improve the quality of learning in our school.
