On 26 January 2022, our school staff along with our
Principal Rev. Sr. Philomena Sequeira and Manager Rev. Fr. Austin
Norris celebrated the occasion of Republic day. We celebrate this day
to honour the date on which the constitution of India came into effect.
The celebration started with a prayer service conducted by the primary
teachers, followed by hoisting of the flag by our chief guest Ms.
Claudine D’souza. We also had performances put up by few students
from the primary section which included singing and dancing on
patriotic songs. They also put up a small skit which gave the message
of ‘Unity in Diversity’. Our chief guest, Principal and Manager also
addressed us about the occasion. Our Manager Rev . Fr. Austin Norris
also wrote a poem on the spot which was so beautiful and
mesmerizing. We concluded the celebration by thanking the primary
teachers for putting up such a well organised programme and training
the kids for the performances. We also appreciated the efforts of the
students in participating and putting up such an amazing programme.
The celebration indeed brought a sense of patriotism in all our hearts.
