Vice Admiral R. Hari Kumar, cheif of staff, Headquater western Naval command presided over a parade organised by BrihanMumbai Inter school Republic Day(BIRD) committee at B.J.road, near Bandra Bandstand Mumbai. The Parade represented 23 schools of Mumbai where children marched smartly with pride and patroitism to the rhythm of the bands played by other school groups who were scattered intermittently. Among them were our Elysians marching in perfect coordination. The marchers were followed by horse riders, cyclists and folk dancers of Lezim, Punjabi and Rajasthani. Elysian dancers represented our school for the Lezim.
Lastly, were the 6 huge floats which conveyed important messages like compassionate attitude towards animals, skill development, fire fighters with their fire brigades etc.. there were also stalls from army officers displaying weapons and its information. The event was indeed a spectacular one.!
