BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
March 7,2015 was a joyful day at St. Elias High School, as it was the birthday of our Manager Rev. Fr. Milton Gonsalves.
Rev.Fr.Milton, Fr.Vianney, Fr. Xavier, Joe Abraham our Redemptorist preacher ,and Rev. Sr. Philomena were welcomed.
As every programme commences with invoking God’s blessings, so did Fr. Milton’s birthday celebration begin with a prayer service and a prayer dance. This was followed by a short cultural programme with a variety of foot –tapping dances by our children.
After the presentation of some beautiful hand -made cards by the prefects of Std.IV and also a basket of flowers made by them, Fr. Milton was presented with a fruit basket. Father later cut a beautifully decorated birthday cake while the Primary Section students and staff members wished him in song. As usual, the teachers were happy to sing a song wishing Fr. Milton.
You could tell that Fr. Milton truly enjoyed this birthday celebration in his honour. He thanked the children and the teachers for their dedicated work in making his birthday a truly happy occasion. God bless you dear Rev. Fr. Milton for many more years to come.
