St. Elias, also known as the Prophet Elijah, was a man of strong faith and courage who trusted in God and spread His message. He is the patron saint of our school and an inspiration for us to live with hope and perseverance.
Feast of St. Elias – A Joyous Celebration

The feast of St. Elias, the patron saint of our school, is celebrated every year on 20th July. This year, the celebration was marked with great devotion and enthusiasm.

The day began with the Holy Eucharist celebrated by Fr. Jodman Pereira, invoking blessings on the entire school community. The primary section students added grace to the occasion by performing a beautiful prayer dance.

A short program was organized for the staff members. Teachers presented a skit based on the theme of “Hope”, inspired by the lives of St. Elias and St. Vincent de Paul. Each group presented their performance with creativity and meaning, spreading a message of faith and inspiration. Following the program, staff members were treated to a delicious lunch, adding to the joy of the celebration.

Competitions based on the school logo were also conducted. Students participated with great enthusiasm, and the winners were awarded certificates. A day prior, sweets were distributed to all students as a token of celebration.

The celebration reflected the school’s motto:
“God shows the way.”
It reminded everyone to walk with faith, trust in God’s plan, and move ahead with courage and hope—just like St. Elias did.
