As a part of the campaign for Swachh Bharat, Swachhta Pakhwada , various activities were conducted in school to create awareness among the students regarding Cleanliness and the on going cleanliness drive “Swachh Bharat” started by our respected Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.
From 15/09/ 23 to 02/10 /23 Swachhata Pakhwada was organised in school. Swachhta Shapath was taken on the very first day of the Pakhwada and special assembly was conducted based on the theme of hygiene and cleanliness . Various activities like Paragraph Writing, Poster making, slogan writing , Poem recitation and essay writing on ‘Garbage free India and Waste management ’ ,were conducted for the classes from V to X , where the students realized the importance of cleanliness and sanitation, as the role of schools has been instrumental in realizing the mission of Swachh Bharat. A tree plantation activity was also organized for the students to create awareness about the important role of trees in cleaning and purifying air . Students were also told to create awareness about cleanliness in their homes and also in their neighbourhood. On 1st Oct teachers and many students participated in “Swachhta hi Sewa” campaign by government (where teachers and students uploaded their pictures) and showed their dedication to Gandhi’s vision of clean and hygienic India.
Thus, all the above activities conducted by the school, enabled it to take this mission of Cleanliness to the community, thereby creating mass awareness.
