TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION
“ Teachers encourage minds to think, hands to create and hearts to love.”
On 5th September 2020, our school students and school staff along with our Principal Rev. Sr. Philomena Sequeira and Manager Rev. Fr. Austin Norris celebrated the occasion of TEACHER’S DAY virtually. We started the day with a prayer service prepared by our Principal Rev. Sr. Philomena Sequeira along with Mrs. Hazel Coelho teacher who sang a prayer song for us . The pre– primary students prepared lovely singing performances to show their gratitude towards their teachers, while the primary students prepared a bunch of dance performances to entertain the teachers. Our secondary students also prepared a skit for their teachers with the help of Mrs. Ronita D’sa teacher. Our PTA members (PTA parents) also lend a helping hand to Mrs. Anjena D’silva teacher to prepare a video which included various messages from our Students to all the teachers. Many students made creative greeting cards to wish their teachers. Some students and ex-students also made videos with pictures of different teachers and themselves which was overwhelming to
watch. A virtual programme was organized by our Principal and Manager which including many singing and dancing performances. The teachers thoroughly enjoyed the virtual programme. The teachers where overjoyed and happy to receive so many wishes through cards and videos despite of not being able to meet them in person. All the teachers thanked all the students for making them feel special on this auspicious day. Indeed the day was well spend. watch.
