Teacher’s Day was celebrated with zeal and zest in our school. Teachers were felicitated by the students in the class. There was an unusual excitement in the school atmosphere which was quite contagious.
The students of class X took over the duties of the teachers for the day. The teachers were welcomed by the guard of honour followed by the prayer service by the Principal Rev. Sr. Philomena Sequeira. The Principal appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing important role in a student’s life. There was a special celebration for teachers organised by the students of secondary section which included dances and a skit. During the teachers day celebration , the staff members who completed 25 years of their service in St. Elias were felicitated. The names of the staff members who completed 25 years of service are as follows:

A grand lunch was a part of the celebration.Thus, the entire celebration paved a new hope for teachers to rejoice the journey as a teacher.
