Report on virtual staff meeting
The virtual meeting for the teaching staff and office staff was conducted on 15th June 2020 by the principal Rev. Sr. Philomena
Sequeira through the Microsoft team application. The Manager of our school Rev. Fr. Austin Norris was also present for the meeting. The meeting started off with the prayer service, followed by the discussion regarding the academic year 2020 – 2021. The principal updated the staff with the current situation of the ongoing pandemic (covid-19) and the functioning of the school in this situation. She briefed us about the guidelines given by the education department to resume the school class wise. She emphasized on the online teaching methods to connect with students and parents till the school reopens. Some teachers also
put forth their suggestions regarding virtual learning for students. The Microsoft team members were also present for the meeting to guide us regarding the usage of Microsoft team application. They also gave training to teachers about the working of the Microsoft team application in relation to virtual teaching for students.
